Welcome to the departments site. These are appear in both the Arts or Humanities and Sciences. The school administration; the Headteacher in particular, are very supportive and responsive to the needs of each area for the smooth running of all departments. the school generally gives special attention to the Sciences for the girl child.
The departments are headed by a team of competent and very committed team leaders.
The number of staff in each department is also available, how the school administration has supported each department, the vision or mission of each department, the achievements that each head of department has been able to attain, the current situation of the department, some of the challenges they are faced with and how they have been able to overcome them.
We strive to enhance learning opportunities for all children by recognising each child’s unique individuality, academic, social and cultural strengths and interests. At Wanyange Girls Secondary School, all subjects taught in O-Level and A-level are directly supervised by Heads of Departments who are in charge of quality content and delivery both physically and online. A number of measures are put in place at the departmental levels to monitor and evaluate the teaching and learning process of every subject per class.
